A nice thought Mike. I'll raise a glass to that one. We can but live in hope.

Great to see the `classic` comedy still gets people where it matters.......in the laughter chamber! I hope one day the two `Lads` will forgive and forget and do even a `one off` feature episode. It would be great to turn the tables though, Terry as a sucessfull retired businessman rolling in the rewards of his empire, and Bob living in a bedsit or B & B, divorced from Thelma who is now married to Terry! Perish the thought but just think of the viewing figures and finantial rewards for Mr Bewes and Bolam! COME ON BBC/ITV/ANYONE.......GET EM PUSHED BACK TOGETHER!!!!!!!

Cheers, S - it's nice to know that someone else appreciates classic comedy! Like a fine vintage wine it seems to improve with age!

Here's to hoping that Bolam and Bewes will mellow in their old age and finally have a reconciliation.

Oh .....My .....G ! Someone else who remembers this! I loved this series and still do! Even the music had such pathos -even then when they were all actually young! Sort of regretful, mournful (could have been written by a Irishman lol!)
